Alisa Bank informs that the company’s board has appointed Sampsa Laine as the company’s CEO and chairman of the management team.
Laine will start as CEO on December 1, 2024. At the same time, Laine’s membership in the board of Alisa Bank will end.
According to the company’s press release, Laine has worked at Nordea, among other things, being responsible for Finnish SME business and the bank’s entire digital services for business customers.
From 2020 onwards, Laine has worked in board positions and as an advisor in banking digital development projects. Lainea has experience in both management positions and board positions in various companies in the financial sector.
“The board of Alisa Pankki Oyj assesses that Sampsa Laine is the right person to lead the bank and implement its new strategy, which aims to grow and develop the company as a provider of BaaS services. We warmly welcome Sampsa to our company,” the chairman of the board Markku Pohjola says in the announcement.
