Air travel|Norwegian justifies the increase in flights by the fact that there is even more demand for flights to Rovaniemi this winter.
Carrier Norwegian says it will add 14 new round-trip flights between Helsinki and Rovaniemi in December-January.
With the additions, the company’s number of flights between cities will increase by approximately 25 percent over last year in two months.
Last year, Norwegian had 57 round-trip flights to Rovaniemi.
In its press release, Norwegian justifies the increase in flights by saying that there is even more demand for flights to Rovaniemi this winter.
“Norwegian responds to the growing demand by increasing flights to Rovaniemi from Helsinki, London and Munich. The London and Munich connections to Rovaniemi are completely new route openings for Norwegian, and they will start at the beginning of December,” the company says.
