The American social network Bluesky, which is described as an alternative to X, has added a million new users in 24 hours.
Since the American presidential elections, Bluesky has been gaining popularity. Internet users are looking for an alternative to X, which has been owned by tech billionaire Elon Musk since the end of 2022. The businessman had supported Donald Trump in the American presidential elections and supported his campaign financially.
“It’s official: in the past day alone, 1,000,000 people have joined Bluesky,” the social network said in a message both on its own platform and on growth compared to 10 million users in mid-September. In February this year, Bluesky still had 4 million users.
Initially, Bluesky was founded and funded by Twitter itself, then led by co-founder Jack Dorsey. Bluesky was released on Apple’s iOS operating system in February 2023 and on Google’s Android in March.
Bluesky is still smaller than
