According to the Central Bureau of Statistics, the consumer price index in October of this year increased by 0.5% compared to September and amounted to 109.1 points (the starting point of 100 points is the average for 2022).
The greatest impact on the growth of the consumer price index was exerted by the rise in prices of clothing and footwear by 3.5%, the rise in prices of transport by 1.9%, and the rise in prices of food and healthcare by 0.5%.
The most noticeable decrease in prices was recorded for housing maintenance services for owners (down by 0.2%) and culture and entertainment (also down by 0.2%).
Since the beginning of the year, the price index has increased by 3.9%, and over the last 12 months of the year – by 3.5%.
