The Public Transport Authority has named the bus company that most often delivers passengers

According to a report published by the Public Transport Authority, in the first half of 2024, Metropolin buses serving passengers in the Sharon, Bekaat Ono and Negev districts were not on route in 3% of cases.

In second place by the number of unfulfilled flights (1.9%) is the Dan company. Tnufa did not operate 1.65% of flights on routes in Jerusalem and Samaria. Electra Afikim and Kavim companies disrupted 1.4% of trips.

According to a report cited by the Mako website, passengers most often encounter problems on Metropolin route 7, which connects Bekaat Ono and Elad. Every fifth bus on this route is either late, misses the route, or does not go on the route at all. Buses on routes 19 and 650 of this company are operating with problems.

The report indicates that Egged, Electra Afikim and Superbus received the highest ratings from passengers, although the latter company also has complaints about the operation of routes 773 and 4. Kavim received the lowest rating from passengers.

The Metropolin company told the Mako website that the company’s management is aware of the decline in the level of passenger service recently, and significant resources are being invested to improve it. At the same time, the manual notes that many routes run along heavily trafficked roads, which often experience traffic jams, including due to demonstrations or infrastructure work.
