STOCK EXCHANGE: Helsinki ended in a gentle decline – Spinnova collapsed to a cent share

The Helsinki Stock Exchange’s general index fell by 0.1 percent to 9,500.8 points on Wednesday. The most traded share was clearly Nokiawhich gained 1.6 percent to 4.03 euros.

The biggest riser of the day was Nanoformwhich jumped 17.9 percent to 1.40 euros. The health technology company published its interim report on Monday, in which it reported that its turnover had risen to six quarters for the first time and that it had agreed a record number of new projects.

It is a non-binding letter of intent signed in March, the preliminary planning phase of which was expected to start between July and December of this year. Suzano is the largest owner of Spinnova.

Inderes analyst Petri Gostowski and Danske Bank see the news as negative. Gostowski has previously analyzed that the realization and success of the project is important to convince other potential investors of the company’s technology.

According to Gostowski, the news causes pressure to change the analysis house’s forecasts, and Inderes plans to update its view of the company in the near future.
