Ryanair has announced that it will not return to Israel until April 2025.

On Thursday, November 21, Irish low-cost carrier Ryanair announced that it will not return to Israeli routes until April 2025. The airline accuses the Israeli Airports Authority of refusing to cooperate.

Last week, Israeli media reported that two large low-cost airlines, Wizz Air and Ryanair, have expressed interest in returning to Israel soon if the international airport opens Terminal 1, which has mandatory fees much lower than Terminal 3. . At the same time, Ryanair expressed its readiness to resume flights to 22 destinations.

The Israel Airports Authority has decided to move all international flights to Terminal 3 from November 1. Terminal 1, according to this decision, will resume operation no earlier than March 29.

The Airports Authority told the news service of the Kahn media corporation that Terminal 1 will be opened if Ryanair or any other Western airline commits to returning to Israel on a permanent basis and in a volume that would justify the opening of the terminal.
