Foreign investors returned to net selling

Since the morning, foreign investors have had a tendency to sell goods and maintain it until the end of the session. Today they net sold about 305 billion VND on HoSE. This is the first time the sellers have dominated after 6 consecutive sessions, this group prefers to collect shares. However, the above level is only half or one-third of the peak net selling volume in mid-November.

After many sessions of strongly collecting FPT, today foreign investors began to sell with a leading net selling value of more than 164 billion VND. Followed by ACV with a net sale of nearly 118 billion.

Foreign investors trade more negatively when stocks fall into a “green on the outside, red on the inside” situation. VN-Index increased slightly by 0.75 points but HoSE had 221 stocks that decreased, more than 147 stocks that increased.

In the morning, the market tended to test the higher price range thanks to blue chips and public investment groups, but failed due to thin demand and liquidity continued to trickle. The green color occupied most of the trading time but mainly thanks to the pillar codes, most notably VCB. Meanwhile, many stocks fell into a correction, including codes such as FPT, MSN, DXG, SSI, STB, MWG… In the afternoon session, there were times when stocks fell below the reference but the amplitude was not deep. .

The total transaction value today decreased by more than 1,900 billion to more than 11,350 billion VND. This is the lowest liquidity level in nearly a month.

Vietcombank Securities (VCBS) believes that the shaky market correction shows the cautious psychology of investors. However, active selling pressure still remains at a low level, showing that stocks are still accumulating stably.

With current developments, VCBS recommends that investors maintain portfolio proportion at 30-40%, and can take advantage of fluctuations to buy more stocks that have shown signs of increasing after when the price is strongly discounted or after the price has accumulated and successfully tested the support zones.
