Vietnam Airlines increases aircraft to serve the At Ty Tet peak

Vietnam Airlines received three new aircraft, including a Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner, two Airbus A320neo, providing more than 100,000 seats, serving the 2025 Lunar New Year.

On December 7, Vietnam National Airlines received an A320neo aircraft bearing the number VN-A515. On December 8, the airline received another Boeing 787-10 aircraft, number VN-A877. The remaining Airbus A320neo, number VN-A514, is expected to return to the airline at the end of December.

Thus, this year, Vietnam Airlines has a total of 103 aircraft. The wide-body aircraft fleet alone (Boeing 787-9, Boeing 787-10 and Airbus A350) reached 31 aircraft.

Boeing 787-10 is one of the largest aircraft of the Boeing 787 series, with a modern design and equipped with fuel-efficient engines. According to Vietnam Airlines, in addition to comfort and convenience for passengers, this aircraft also helps the airline reduce operating costs and environmental impact. Airplanes operate mainly on domestic routes and Northeast Asia.

For the Airbus A320neo series, equipped with new generation engines, save more than 16% of fuel consumption, reduce 75% of noise and reduce about 50% of harmful emissions compared to previous generation engines, according to manufacturer’s declaration. Previously, the airline opened 2.15 million seats for early sale, equivalent to more than 11,000 flights across the domestic flight network, serving the needs of passengers to buy Tet tickets. At the same time, to avoid buying fake tickets or tickets with inflated prices during the peak Tet holiday, the company recommends that customers buy on the website, mobile application, box office, official agent and request an invoice when purchasing tickets. .
