After the recent rudeness to industrial entrepreneurs, Javier Milei will celebrate the first anniversary of Government management with the countryside. This Tuesday he will participate in a producers’ day at the Argentine Rural Society (SRA), which will also be attended by the Minister of Economy, Luis Caputo.
According to reports, Milei will be around 10 a.m. at the opening of the meeting where around 400 people are expected, including delegates and directors of the rural entity. While Caputo will speak after noon.
“I asked the President if he was going to accompany us and he seemed delighted. He is going to have a tight schedule because he is celebrating one year in office. He told me that he is going to make a place for himself,” said Nicolás Pino, president of the Rural Society, in statements to CNN Radio, with whom Milei has a close relationship.
It will be the fourth time this year for the President to set foot on the Rural property located in the heart of Palermo. First, he was at the Indoor Autumn Angus Show held in May.
Then, he participated in the inaugural event of the Rural de Palermo at the end of July, accompanying the president of the Rural Society. Finally, in September, he was at the centennial celebration of the Argentine Breeders of Hereford Association.
Now, he returns for the meeting of delegates, directors and the 2024 Federal Council that will be held at the Palermo site, which, as it turned out, no announcements are expected for the sector.
In addition, Milei participated this year in other important events for the agroindustrial sector, such as Expoagro, Agroactiva and the anniversary of the Rosario Stock Exchange.
This meeting occurs after the recent rudeness of Milei and Caputo to the Argentine Industrial Union to his conference, which is the main activity of the most representative business entity, marking a clear difference that the President has with each sector.

More and more entities and producers are asking for a reduction in this tax on grains, in a context ofand very fine numbers due to the drop in international prices, especially for soybeans, which are taxed at 33% and the price fell to a minimum in 4 years.
This unrest over this tax deepened after a Caputo’s post against an agricultural producer who complained about the withholdings by the social network “X”. “If in 4 years you are dissatisfied, you will be able to vote for another alternative. Meanwhile, you have no choice but to continue watching Chapaleufú and running races,” the head of the economic portfolio had responded.
