Dubai: Khaled Musa Stock indices in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries recorded mixed weekly performance. Selectivity dominated investors’ purchases in the Emirates, with the leading banks emerging victorious, with the Abu Dhabi market index holding steady after only falling 0.013% to the level of 9265.1 points, while the Dubai market index fell 0.5% to the level of 4829.63 points. The Saudi market index ended last week’s trading with an increase of 167 points, or 1.4%, closing at 12,099 points. Compared to the previous week’s close at 11,932 points. In Kuwait, the general market index rose 0.76%, closing at 7,331.01 points. In Bahrain, the Bahrain General Index fell by 1.46% over 5 sessions, closing at 2005.85.
