The national mediator issued a new settlement proposal in the Finnair pilots’ labor dispute

The parties will answer on Monday at 20:00.

Kingdom Conciliator gave a new settlement proposal in the labor dispute of Finnair’s commercial pilots on Sunday. The parties, i.e. the Finnish Airline Pilots Association (SLL) and the service industry employers Palta, will respond to it tomorrow, Monday, by 20:00.

The message service of the Office of the National Conciliator informed about the matter X:in.

The first settlement proposal presented this week did not go through because the pilots’ union rejected it. Palta would have been ready to accept the proposal.

Mediation of the labor dispute has continued intensively over the weekend. SLL has not issued a new strike warning, but the ban on pilots being on standby has been in effect since Thursday. It can lead to individual flights being canceled at short notice.

According to Finnair, customers are notified directly of possible flight cancellations.

The pilots had work stoppages on Monday and Friday this week. Due to them, Finnair canceled a total of around 300 flights.
