Biden provided Ukraine with the last military aid package of his tenure

US President Joe Biden announced a new $2.5 billion military aid package for Ukraine. This is the last such package until the end of Biden’s term. Donald Trump’s continued supply remains in doubt.

Half of this amount will be used to supply equipment and weapons from the warehouses of the American army, the second half is intended for ordering new weapons. According to a statement released by the White House, hundreds of thousands of artillery shells, thousands of missiles and hundreds of armored vehicles are currently being sent to Ukraine.

“The new assistance will provide Ukraine with both an immediate influx of forces and means that it effectively uses on the battlefield, and long-term supplies of air defense systems, artillery and other critical weapons systems,” Voice of America quotes the American president.
