Leading stocks put pressure on UAE indices in the first sessions of 2025

Dubai: «Gulf» UAE stock indices declined, on Thursday, in the first sessions of 2025, as the Abu Dhabi market index fell 1.03% to 9,322.02 points, while the Dubai market index fell 0.10% to 5,153.33 points. The Dubai market index declined under pressure from a decline in Emaar Properties by 1.16% and Emirates NBD by 2.09%, compared to Talabat’s increase by 2.85%, Emaar Development by 1.82% to 13.95 dirhams, and Salik by 2.03% to 5.51 dirhams. The highest increase in the Dubai market was: Shuaa Capital 11.45%, Aman 6.36%, Talabat 2.86%, Ithmaar Holding 2.49%, and Ektitab Holding 2.22%. On the other hand, the largest decline was: National International 6.67%, Dubai National Insurance 3.92%, Al Mazaya Holding 3.85%, Amanat 3.57%, Agility.
