The world’s most punctual airline can be found in Mexico

World the most specific airline is the national airline of Mexico, Aeroméxico.

About 87 percent of the company’s flights departed and arrived within the deadline, according to the aviation analytics company Cirium’s recent statistics.

Cirium considers a plane to be on time if it takes off and arrives at the gate within 15 minutes of the indicated time. In addition, Cirium gives weight for the entire duration of the flightthat is, how exactly the plane stayed in the forecast from the departure gate to the arrival gate.

99.32 percent of Aeroméxico’s flights were also flown, in other words, only a fraction of the departures were cancelled.

Second the most accurate was the national Saudia of Saudi Arabia and the third largest was the US giant Delta Air Lines.

The analytics company gives special recognition to the latter because Delta is one of the world’s largest airlines and still sticks to its schedules.

Out of the top three, none of the companies fly to Finland.

European inside, the most punctual were the Spaniards.

The first was the low-cost airline Iberia Express and the second was its parent company, the Spanish national airline Iberia. The Nordic SAS reached third.

Big ones the most punctual of the international airports was the airport in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. Almost 87 percent of the flights left Riyadh on time, and about 82 percent of the planes arrived at the airport on time.

The second most accurate was the airport of Lima, the capital of Peru, and the main airport of Mexico City, the capital of Mexico, was the third.

“2024 was a difficult year for airlines as they faced extensive IT problems and severe weather conditions. Despite these challenges, these airlines and airports have worked tirelessly to ensure their customers have a smooth journey and get to their destination on time,” says Cirium’s CEO Jeremy Bowen in the bulletin.
