STOCK EXCHANGE: Moderate opening in Helsinki – last year’s strongest riser takes a back seat

The Helsinki Stock Exchange opened up on Friday in the aftermath of yesterday’s brisk upswing. The OMXH general index was up 0.1 percent at 9,653.94 points shortly after the start of trading.

On Thursday, the Helsinki Stock Exchange ended up with a 1.8 percent increase on the first trading day of the new year.

Recommendation changes

Analysis house Inderes raised by a pharmaceutical technology company Nexstimin target price to EUR 7.00, but lowered the recommendation to the reduce level from the previous increase level. The change in recommendation was justified by the changed valuation picture due to the strong price increase.

Nexstim’s share was down 4.6 percent at 8.36 euros. The company’s stock was the biggest gainer on the Helsinki Stock Exchange last year.

Inderes also counted the house builder Honkarakenne target price to 2.50 euros from the previous 2.90 euros. The recommendation remained at the reduce level.

Honkarakenne’s share was down 2.0 percent at 2.41 euros.

SEB said that he would start selling measuring devices to the industry Vaisalan with a follow-up target price of 56.00 euros and a buy recommendation.

Vaisala’s share was up 0.5 percent at 49.45 euros.
