The popular Israeli chain of ice cream parlors “Golda” has increased the price of a basic portion of ice cream by 5% from 20 shekels to 21 shekels.
The average portion went up by 2 shekels or 8% from 25 shekels to 27 shekels, and the large portion went up by 14% or 4 shekels from 29 to 33 shekels.
Half-kilogram packs of ice cream went up in price by 3%, kilograms – by 7%.
Ice cream and yoghurt rose in price by 10-13%, coffee – by 7-23%, Belgian waffles – by 7%, soft drinks – by 8%.
Over the past week, the cafe chains Aroma, Arcafe and Roladin have also increased prices for their menus. For Golda, this is the third price increase in the last two years.
