The Ministry of Defense ordered the Rafael concern anti-missiles for the Iron Dome with American money

Director General of the Israeli Ministry of Defense Eyal Zamir and General Director of the state concern Rafael signed an agreement for the supply of a large batch of Tamir interceptor missiles for the Iron Dome missile defense system.

The amount of the deal is not specified, however, according to Israeli media, it will be paid for from $5.2 billion in additional military assistance allocated by the United States since the beginning of the war to rearm and strengthen Israel’s missile defense.

It is expected that in the near future the concern will receive orders for the production of interceptor missiles for the David’s Sling missile defense system and for the Shield of Light laser missile defense system.
