The Chinese social network TikTok, which stopped operating in the United States on Saturday evening, is again available to its 170 million American users.
The company thanked US President-elect Donald Trump for “providing needed clarity and assurances” and said it would work with Trump “on a long-term solution that allows TikTok to remain in the United States.”
Before this, Trump wrote on his social network Thuth: “I am asking companies to prevent TikTok from going out of business! On Monday, I will issue an executive order to delay the entry into force of the bans provided for by law so that we can reach an agreement to protect our national security.”
