Aitra launches the Manifesto for Gender Equality

Being Equal to Be Transparent” is the event promoted by the Italian Transparency and Anti-Corruption Association, which will take place on 24 January 2025 from 10.00 to 13.45 at Europa Experience David Sassoli, Piazza Venezia, 6, in Rome in collaboration with the European Parliament, Office in Italy.

During the Event, AITRA will present the Manifesto “Being Equal to Be Transparent”. A Charter of Principles which – the Italian Transparency and Anti-Corruption Association – in the important year, which will celebrate the tenth anniversary of its establishment, has decided to approve and launch to pursue the aim of promote gender equality, in organizations and companies, as best practices in ethics and transparency. For the Gender Equality theme is an unpublished Manifestobecause through eight points it aims to raise awareness of organizations and companies towards eliminating the gender gap, in an integrated compliance key, i.e. the promotion of achieving a gender balance in order to increase corporate integrity, employer branding and business competitiveness.

Companies, organizations and associations that choose to share and adhere to these principles set out in the Aitra Manifesto will be able to choose to sign it. Florinda Scicolone, Expert in Corporate Gender Regulations and Policies, Aitra Board of Directors, will present the Manifesto, after the institutional greetings and opening of the proceedings by the Head of Communication and Social Media of the European Parliament in Italy Valeria Fiore, by the President of Aitra and General Counsel Avio Spa Giorgio Martellino, the President of Anac Giuseppe Busia and the member of the Board of the Guarantor for the Protection of Personal Data Guido Scorza.

A panel composed of international and national personalities will discuss the topic, moderated by Valeria Santoro, Journalist of Milano Finanza and Florinda Scicolone, in which speakers will be: Nicola Allocca, President of the OECD Business Anti-Corruption Committee, Emanuela Sironi of Trasparency International Italia, Giordano Fatali , President CEO For Life, Cristina Di Silvio, Italy Country Chair The Club G100, as well as important bodies, companies and associations such as: ACI, Autostrade
