Wolt has doubled shipping costs for most orders

Courier delivery service Wolt announced the transition in Israel from a fixed commission rate to a dynamic one, depending on the size of the order.

As a result, the average cost of the commission will be 4 shekels, while currently it is 2 shekels. For orders under 60 shekels the commission will be 1 shekel. The maximum commission amount will be 5.9 shekels.

In addition, the company announced a Wolt+ subscription option costing 49 shekels per month with a waiver of delivery fees. The subscription will include delivery only from stores that have paid for their participation and located within a radius of up to 4-6 km (depending on the type of store) in a straight line from the customer’s location, provided that the order amount is at least 60 shekels (for pharmacies – not less than 140 shekels).
