Large Israeli trade delegation visits Greece

The first official Israeli trade delegation since the start of the war visited Greece this week to discuss ways to significantly expand trade between the two countries.

The delegation was organized by the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the association of industrialists and the presidium of the commercial sector. Members of the delegation met with ministers, directors general of ministries, and directors of regulatory bodies.

The delegation’s visit was not advertised in the media, however, according to the ynet portal, its main goal was to find a replacement for Turkish suppliers amid the embargo imposed by Ankara, and the result of the visit should be a rapid increase in trade volumes from $1.3 billion to $3 billion.
