Svenne Holmström was elected Chairman of the Finnish Equity Savers

Sven-Eric Holmström have been selected Finnish equity savers as a new chairman. The chairman was elected by the election at the association’s meeting on Saturday.

Holmström replaces the job Karri Salmenwho was previously appointed as the new CEO of Finnish Equity Savers.

In addition to Holmström, the candidate in the presidential elections was candidate Matti Hirvonen, Pauliina Lappeteläinen, Jussi Koskinen and Kimmo Piispanen. The election advanced to the second round, where Holmström won Koskinen with a 36-34.

Holmström has made a long career in the banking sector. In Nordea and In Aktiaafter which he founded an investment and economic education company Ghost Investorin.
