Founder of Heetch, son of refugees… who is Amir Reza-Tofighi, the successor of François Asselin at the head of the CPME

A new face. Amir Reza-Tofighi, 40, the boss of the Vitalliance personal service company, was elected Tuesday president of the Confederation of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (CPME), replacing François Asselin who was in office since 2015, announced the employers’ organization.

Amir Reza-Tofighi, who appeared in front of two competitors, collected 65.4 % of the votes of the Federations and Territorial Organizations of the CPME gathered in an elective general meeting, according to the CPME press release.

In addition to Vitalliance, co-founded at the age of 21 and which today employs around 8,500 people, Amir Reza-Tofighi has also created several companies in tech, including the Heetch carpooling platform.

Central Supélec and HEC

Son of Iranian political refugees, he grew up in Grigny (Essonne). A graduate of Centralelec and HEC, he engaged in parallel in the defense of entrepreneurship, presiding over the French Federation of Personal and Proximity Services (FeddesAp) from 2016 to 2022.

After having occupied several mandates on behalf of the CPME (notably the Unédic) he was appointed president of the Innovation Commission, a mandate during which he notably piloted a program to deploy artificial intelligence (AI) in very small businesses -Pme. He also sits on the Executive Committee of the National CPME since 2019.

“I undertake to bring the fight of the values ​​which are those of our Confederation every day: work, effort, merit, empowerment and risk taking, all these values ​​that make entrepreneurs that we are, Nation’s builders, ”says Amir Reza-Tofighi in the press release. He “pays tribute” to François Asselin, who leaves the CPME after two mandates, “whose action and vision have made it possible to profoundly transform the CPME and strengthen its influence”.
