In five years, the average price of the hotel room in Lapland has risen by about 40 per cent and the whole country by 20 %. In Uusimaa, only five percent of the rise in the price rise in the same time.

Most tourists have come from Britain in the last couple of years, and most of them have headed to Lapland.
