Amazon increases the wages of the new hires

In accordance with its company’s annual revision of the salaries, Amazon will increase the gross remuneration of newly hired warehouse operators of the logistics network in Italy to 1,876 euros per month, with retroactive effect from the first of January 2025.

This was communicated by the group in a note, explaining that as a result of this initiative, the wages of newly hired employees will be 8% higher than the minimum remuneration determined by the logistics and transport CCNL, recently renewed, for the fifth level, equal to 141 Euro gross per month, and 20% higher than 2020. Furthermore, it reads in the note, “always as the best condition than the market, in Amazon the warehouse operators are taken on the fifth level, where the CCNL provides for hiring At the lower level for the common warehouse workers, and the workers themselves receive a first increase after only 12 months of work and are promoted at the higher level after 24 months of work “.
