USAID will reduce from 14,000 to 300 employees

The American media publish a plan for reducing the staff of the USAID American agency from approximately 14,000 employees to the current moment to 294 employees.

Of these, 75 employees will be in administrative positions, 78 in the Humanitarian Assistance Bureau, 77 – in the Global Health Department, 21 in the Middle East Department, 12 in the African department, 10 in the European and Eurasia department and 8 in the departments of Latin America and Asia.

At the moment, almost all agency employees are on administrative leave. Located abroad, it is proposed to return to the United States within 30 days with payment of return costs. After this period, the agency does not undertake to pay for the return on return.

Initially, the new presidential administration promoted the full liquidation of the agency, which ruled the budget of $ 40 billion, but in the end, the agency is now being promoted and its retroding to the State Department.
