Half a dozen of the most senior in the Federal Department (theFBI) Gone in the headquarters last week to hear an urgent directive from administration Trump. One was a chief investigator of an attack on September 11. Another managed the investigation into the assassination attempt at Trump’s president last summer. Everyone was waiting for Breyan Driscol, the actual FBI manager.
Driscol came from a tense meeting with Emil Boit, appointed by Trump for the second most senior position in the Ministry of Justice. Balt told him to put an ultimatum to senior officials: resigned until Monday or fired. They had four days to decide. We tried to stop it, Driscol told the team.
Two weeks into Trump’s second term, the president and his team quickly worked to eliminate assistance programs, to crush diversity initiatives and remove thousands of civil servants. The Ministry of Justice and the FBI were fast and far-reaching removal, which intended to investigators and plaintiffs involved in Trump’s investigations. More than two dozens of permanent officials in both agencies and dozens of other plaintiffs have already been fired. The Trump administration began to make lists of thousands of others that he was about to check, and aroused concern that many others could be dismissed.
The administration also signaled that it would transfer more than 38,000 agents, analysts and technical experts of the FBI to engage in illegal immigration, which traditionally preoccupied with the bureau was limited.
Over the past decade, the FBI and the Ministry of Justice have concentrated on overseas threats, including terrorism, cyber crimes, as well as Chinese and Russian espionage – including the extensive breakthrough, which is attributed to Beijing, of Salt Typhon to the American Talcoma system, and to the crumbs’ amplifiers.
Cash Fattel, the man that Trump chose to manage the FBI, is expected to reduce the intelligence and combat work of the bureau’s terrorism, according to his aides. During a confirmation hearing in the Senate last week, Patel mentioned China only casually and did not talk about any threat from Russia. Republicans said the bureau focused for years in a fair in Trump and inRepublican Party.

Patel will probably pass agents from securities frauds, the antitrust violations and other white -collar cases to engage in drug trafficking and violent crime on the street, according to his aides.
War in terror or migration
Balt, who was Trump’s criminal lawyer, called at least half a dozen FBI supervisors in several cities, some in the middle of the night, to make sure they applied the tough agenda towards Trump’s immigration and publish their role on social networks, according to people who know the conversations. In his position as number 2 in the Justice Department, a FBI supervisor, who serves as the Justice Department’s investigation.
Some agents working in criminal or security investigations have received a list of names and addresses of illegal immigrants, said law enforcement official, which left them confused about their exact role.
Other FBI officials say agents are trying to juggle contemporary cases with new tasks. One agent who researched children’s exploitation was recently directed to help the Ministry of Public Security in immigration work. A supervisory intelligence supervisor received similar orders.

Bob ordered the joint mission forces, which were established after 11 September to coordinate federal and state terrorist tests, join the oppression of immigration, according to people who know the issue. He wanted after the FBI officials told him that the reconstruction would keep agents from tracking suspects in terrorists.

This account is based on interviews with more than two dozen law enforcement officials in the present and in the past and review of the government’s internal media.
The White House did not respond to a response request. On January 20, Trump’s first day in office, the president signed an execution order to investigate the “alleged claim power” of the Biden administration.
Firing classes
More than a dozen federal prosecutors who worked on Trump’s investigations received an email on January 27, stating that they were fired that they could not be trusted to be performed by the president’s agenda. One prosecutor was accompanied by his desk to pull out personal objects, and he should not even send a farewell to colleagues.
On Friday, Bob sent a memo to the paradold announcing that FBI officials should resign or be fired to ensure “responding to the leadership and guidelines of President Trump.” In the memorandum, the Attorney General also sought from the bureau to provide a list of anyone who worked in the January 6, 2021 attack on Capitol.
The federal investigation included a team in all FBI field offices, including Driscol, which caused the fear of mass purification.
Also on Friday, about 30 prosecutors in the US Attorney’s Office in Washington was fired. Everyone worked on the claims on January 6. Bob sent a memo stating that they were adequately accepted to work as part of “subversive power actions” by the Biden administration.
Thousands of FBI agents have been presented to answer a 12-question survey on their work at the riots on January 6. Agents arrested the field work to complete the survey, including one that helped restore bodies from the ruins of the collision between the army’s Black Hook helicopter and a passenger aircraft over the Potomak River.
The main question was asked, “what was your job in investigations or claims related to events that occurred in or near January 6, 2021.”
Driscol, who served in the FBI hostage team, said Tuesday by email to the employees that the bureau was complied with Bob’s request to the list, but about 5,000 FBI members were only identified by a degree, role and role- and not on their behalf.
Bob called Driscol not bent on Wednesday, saying the actual FBI manager refused to hand over the names of the “core team” in Washington who worked on the investigation on January 6. Driscol’s refusal made Bob demand the overall list, he said. The only agents who need to worry, Bob said, “they are the ones who acted with corrupt or party intent.”
FBI agents who participated in interrogations in January 6 filed a pair of lawsuits yesterday on the Justice Department’s list, saying they were afraid that the Trump Allies would publish it, which would jeopardize agents and their families.
The Trump Government officials fired the Ministry of Justice in the Department of Executive for Immigration with emails that included the word “removal” in the subject line. Employees were only told that they were fired under the authority of section II, according to people who know the issue. Section II of the Constitution, which founded the presidency and ended executive powers, was not traditionally understood as granted to the president unlimited authority to fire civil servants in his career.
The FBI Agents Association said some workers were so worried about dismissal that they packed their tables in preparation. At 14:15. On Saturday, in an attempt to cancel a rumor that spreads rapidly, the FBI has published a statement that Driscol “continued to serve in his role.”
Inside the chaos, official officials said, work in the Bureau. The daily threats to the FBI leaders have narrowed, and for the first time in years, the Cyber team has not been for a few days to report, giving the impression that the work was stopped.
Equal protection
Last Thursday, when Driscol told the FBI officials about Bob’s instructions to retire or be fired, Patel’s FBI confirmation hearing aired on television screens in the bureau’s 7th-floor leadership suites.
Patel told legislators that FBI employees would be protected from political reward. “Every FBI employee will be held on the same standard and no one will be fired for allocation of bags,” he said oath, adding that he had no idea “what’s going on there now.”
On Saturday, the FBI agent union informed his friends not to resign or offer to resign: “Although we would never advocate physical obedience, you must be clear that your impeachment is unreasonable.”
The Agency Association continued another announcement on Sunday, and informed members to answer the January 6 survey in response that included the trial, “I was not informed of my rights in this regard.”
On Monday, the association and other defense attorneys announced in a letter to Congress that the Ministry of Justice could disrupt the bureau’s work, “create dangerous distractions” and endanger investigations.
The FBI senior executives who received the Justice Department’s ultimatum last week will have to evacuate their offices and hand their tags until Monday. Together, they represent close to 200 years of FBI experience.
“Big failure”
At 15:00 on Trump’s seventh day, several senior government officials in criminal and national security positions, including some who were engaged in Trump’s investigations, received the same email. Email was written only “see attachment”, according to a person who watched it.
The accompanying file was a memorandum that allocates the officials for a new task aimed at US cities with policy that prevents cooperation with the federal immigration authorities.
The Trump Government officials “declared a war on their workforce,” Stacey Young, a litigator at the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Department, who resigned last month and set up an external group, Justice Connection, to help hire Ees to navigate the confusion in the workplace.
The US Attorney’s Office in Washington, who heads nearly 1,600 claims from the attack on January 6, feels the hand of the new administration well. In his first day, Trump gave a broad pardon that neutralized these cases and appointed Ed Martin to a current US Attorney in Washington. Martin, a lawyer of Missouri and formerly the chairman of the Republican Party of the state, said he was also in Capitol on January 6, 2021.

“I’m in Capitol right now,” he published on social networks that day. “A stormy audience but nothing comes out of control. I was ignored by the#Fakenews.”
Martin served on the Patriot Freedom Project, a group that supported people charged with regard to the Capitol riots.
On Martin’s first day as the US attorney, he noticed his attention to the minority leader in Senate Chuck Shommer. Martin wrote a letter to the guard, and asked him to clarify the Democratic Legislative comments that he played Supreme Court’s judges Brett Kabano in 2020 and Nil Gork.
Shoma said, “Understand the vortex and you will pay the price,” during a rally outside the Supreme Court on the day of the debate in an abortion. Shortly thereafter, he returned from things and said he was talking about the political implications of Trump and Republicans in the Senate if the Supreme Court “would cancel a woman’s right to choose.”
In his letter, almost five years after Schumer’s remarks, Martin warned, “we are very seriously referring to public officials.”
Martin sent an email to every office later that week and said Trump was “kind enough” to invite him to a pardon of two police officers in Washington, the capital’s beer was prosecuted by the office. A jury convicted one of the police officers with a second -class murder. Both were found in conspiracy to cover the circumstances of the pursuit that led to the death of a 20-year-old man in 2020.
“What a great act of the president to protect our colleagues in efforts to make DC safe,” Martin wrote. “When I stood in the oval room, I thought about all of you and the big work you do and we will do.”
The following week, Martin launched an internal review of plaintiffs in the charge of severe obstruction in January 6, calling it a “large failure” by e -mail to each office. He warned that anyone who did not cooperate with the investigation would be considered “not bent.”
In a letter on Monday to Ayalon Musk, Martin said his office is ready to support the Musk government efficiency department. Musk workers were facing clashes with careers after appearing and demanding access to government agencies sensitive systems. Conflicts or other actions affecting Doge work, Martin said, “may violate many laws.”
Several veteran officials in the Ministry of Justice say they are considering whether to resign. One talked about it on Monday with a former colleague.
“I can’t imagine the Justice Department without you,” said the former colleague.
“The department died,” the clerk replied.
Florida’s former general prosecutor, Pam Bondi, who has recently worked as a lawyer for Trump, was sworn in on Wednesday by Judge Clarence Thomas as a general prosecutor and the head of the Ministry of Justice.
Shortly thereafter, Bondi signed a memo to establish a “weapon work group” for testing files against Trump brought by local, median and federal prosecutors.
