Representatives of the SHVA company, the management system of payments on credit cards in Israel, said that the technical failure that occurred on Thursday morning was the result of cyber attacks.
In accordance with the statement of the company “Schva”, the attack lasted about 26 minutes, which led to violations of transaction authorization. The company’s specialists quickly and professionally responded to the attack and in a short time restored the full performance of the systems.
The representative of Check Point, commenting on the incident, noted that Iranian groups stood behind such attacks in the past, and it is likely that such situations will be repeated in the future.
