The Board of OpenAi has officially rejected Elon Musk’s proposal to take over the non-profit organization behind OpenAi for $ 97.4 billion. In a brief letter to Musks Advocaat, OpenAi’s lawyer states that the board has evaluated the proposal. It concluded that the much -discussed ‘bid’ of the billionaire was in reality no offer at all, without further detailed detail.
“The proposal is not in the best interest of OpenAi’s mission and is rejected. The council’s decision on this case is unanimous, “said the lawyer.
Last Monday, a consortium led by billionaire Musk released the billion -dollar bid on the company behind the popular Chatbot Chatgpt. OpenAi chief Sam Altman then indicated that the company is not for sale “and certainly not to Elon Musk.”
Musk was one of the founders of OpenAi, which has been around since 2015. He left the company’s board in 2018 and is now opposed to Altman in the courtroom about the race that OpenAi should go.
