Takata airbags of more than 2.3 million vehicles still replacing in France, thousands of cars concerned

These models were already called upon to change airbags since 2024 as part of a conventional recall.

Nissan, BMW or Toyota, among others, recalled millions of vehicles equipped with these dangerous Takata brand airbags, with reminders still in progress today.

The Ministry of Transport also launched in January information campaigns in the service stations overseas, where the climate degrades faster one of the components of these airbags, and technical control centers must notify the customers concerned in any France during the passage of their vehicle.
