More than three Belgian and foreign investors have shown interest in taking over the Audi Brussels site in Vorst. That reports Litter Friday.
“The search has not yet been completed, but we already have enough candidates,” explains Pierre Hermant, CEO of Finance & Invest.brussels, in the newspaper. Audi Brussels, on the other hand, confirms “different scenarios for the future use of the site” and to want to “involve” the government and local authorities “in the planning of the future use of the site”.
Audi Brussels closes definitively on Friday 28 February. The factory has been accessible again since Wednesday after employees of suppliers blocked the entrances of the Audi factory for days. This happened after the intervention of a bailiff.
