Kari Loukola appointed to lead the Exel Composites Industrial Solutions business unit

Exel Composites has appointed today Kari Loukola Director of the Industrial Solutions business unit and member of the Management Team as of 25 February 2025. Loukola is currently the director of the Exel Composites wind farm.

Over the past eleven years, Loukola has held several management positions in Exel, including leader and sales and marketing director for several business units. Prior to his career at Exel Composites, Loukola worked in various leadership positions in Nokia Networks, including the responsible roles.

Loukola’s predecessor Kathy Wang has announced that it will give up its duties for family reasons. Wang continues in an active role in Exel, ensuring a smooth transfer.

“We are in our mind to announce this seamless internal transfer of tasks in our Industrial Solutions business unit. Kari has a long and successful career in Exel in various leadership positions, and recently he has been responsible for the good development of wind power business,” Exel Composites CEO Paul Sohlberg says in the bulletin.
