The General Security Service (Shabak) and the national security headquarters (Malal) are checking about the participation of the CRRC State Chinese Corporation in the tender for the construction of the “blue” tram branch in Jerusalem, the 12th ITV channel reports.
CRRC is involved in the tender together with Israeli companies “Denia Sibus” and “Dan”, and in case of victory on the tender, tram compositions will have to put the consortium.
The corporation was no longer allowed to build a tram for the construction of a tram in a gush-Dan. The tender commission then came to the conclusion that the application is too cheap behind the facet of economic feasibility.
CRRC corporation was previously defined by the Pentagon as a Chinese military company, although it also works in the United States. In recent years, Washington has been pressure on Israel with a demand to reduce the presence of Chinese corporations in infrastructure projects.
