Carrefour, Intermarché, Casino … You only have a few days to spend your loyalty points

The cumulative points on the loyalty cards of supermarket signs have a limited duration. If they are not used before a certain date, the cumulative money is definitely lost. But be careful to note it well on the calendar, because the deadlines vary from one brand to another.

If for Auchan and Monoprix customers, the bulk of the prize pools has already had to be used, this is not the case for those of Carrefour, Intermarché and Casino. Customers of Carrefour and Casino have until February 28 to spend their prize pool, and those of Intermarché, until March 1, 2025.

For Carrefour and Intermarché, the amounts accumulated since January 1 are not affected and will be dissociated from those accumulated in 2024. Customers of the brands can consult them directly on their personal account.

No deadline for Leclerc and cooperative U

Leclerc or cooperative customers, on the other hand, have more time. The brands do not impose any deadline. Only downside: an inactive loyalty card for a long time is automatically terminated. All the points are then lost.

At Leclerc, an email is sent after 12 months. In the absence of an answer, the card is disabled two months later. The U cooperative expires the loyalty card if no transaction is made for thirteen months in a row. “Otherwise, the carrier U card will be blocked, its U -terminated U card account and its USE BALE U reset to zero,” explains the brand.
