According to information from Vietnam Lottery Company (Vietlott), the winning ticket of Jackpot 1 prize is worth over VND 186 billion with the sequence of 13-25-32-36-41-53.
Besides, Jackpot 2 prize of more than 11.7 billion dong also has winners.
The winner of Jackpot 1 will have to fulfill the obligation to pay personal income tax 10% in accordance with the Ministry of Finance, equivalent to more than 18.6 billion dong. Vietlott will update information about the ticket release channel or locality of this Jackpot tournament owner tomorrow.
In this lottery, Vietlott identified 31 first winners worth VND 40 million, 1,636 second prizes of VND 500,000 and 35,920 third prizes of VND 50,000.
Earlier, on the 5th of the Lunar New Year, the company found the first Jackpot winner of the Year of the Snake with a value of VND 152.6 billion.
By the end of 2024, Vietlott had about 6,300 tickets across the country, and recorded more than 2.5 million accounts through the phone distribution channel. Last year’s revenue reached VND 7,915 billion, up 25% compared to 2023 and exceeded 16.4% of the plan assigned by the Ministry of Finance.
In particular, the traditional agent channel contributes 4,180 billion dong, accounting for 53%, the rest is from the phone ticket sales channel with about 3,727 billion dong. The business spent 55% of the revenue last year, equivalent to about 4,260 billion dong, to pay the prize of 23.4 million winning tickets.
