On April 15 at the latest, Casino brands will have been won over a hundred convenience stores located in the south-east of France. And the Carrefour logo could replace them, provided that the managers – mostly franchisees – accept it.
The Carrefour group confirmed this Tuesday morning to have got hold of the company Magne, a “Master franchisee”. “It has 101 stores which were under Casino brand,” says Benoît Soury, director of proximity at Carrefour. The points of sale are scattered in Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. The Magne company is also a wholesaler providing food stores in 25 departments, and has two logistics sites.
