Denmark will provide Ukraine with additional military assistance by almost $ 1 billion

Denmark will provide Ukraine with the 25th Assistance Packet in the amount of 6.7 billion KROns ($ 970 million) for the period 2025-2027, the Kingdom of Defense Ministry said in a press release.

Money will be aimed at the purchase of air defense, artillery and supporting the Air Force of Ukraine.

“The 25th package of donations we emphasize our support for Ukraine both in the short and long term,” said Denmark Minister of Defense Triels Lund Pulesen.

Foreign Minister Lars Lyokke Rasmussen expressed the hope that Denmark’s help “will be able to inspire other allies to provide even greater support”, since “Ukraine’s security is crucial for the future of Europe.”

Since February 2022, Denmark allocated about € 7.45 billion for military assistance to Kyiv. About € 853 million was transferred to civilian purposes, TASS notes.
