These are 5 theses for Trump’s new NATO ambassador to Europe

However, he stressed that “NATO’s vitality depends on each ally doing their share.”

In practice, this means that many European NATO countries and Canada must increase their defense money.

Five theses

Ambassador Whitaker said he was immediately ready to work and help NATO make “the necessary and permanent changes”.

Whitaker presented five key points that he especially wants to promote with NATO allies.

First, Whitaker listed that he wants to promote peace and stability through NATO’s strength.

Secondly, he wants to promote the burden of the union and increase defense investments, which increase Europe’s defense and strengthen Europe and the United States.

Third, the new US Ambassador to NATO wants to encourage Europe to take on a leadership role to get sustainable peace and safety in Ukraine, and in order to begin to rebuild Ukraine.

Fourth, Whitaker wants to strengthen NATO’s collective defense and deterrent, which also covers cyber security and other growing threats.

Fifth, the new US new NATO ambassador wants NATO to take the complex threats from China seriously.

US new NATO ambassador

Matthew G. Whitaker has previously served as Minister of Justice of the United States in 2018-2019.

He has also served as Chancellor of the Minister of Justice Jeff Sessions.

Whitaker was the Chitaker Hagenow & Gustoff of the Law Office in Des Moines, the leading shareholder of LLP from 2009 to 2017.

For the years 2004-2009, he was appointed prosecutor in the southern region of Iowa.

Whitaker is a Master of Science in Economics, a Doctor of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Humanities at the University of Iowa.
