ELBIT will supply the NATO country with weapons systems for $ 100 million

The Israeli defense concern Elbit Systems announced the signing of an agreement for the supply of its ET30 MK2 barn systems for the Spanish company General Dynamics European Land Systems.

The towers will be installed on ASCOD combat vehicles, which will be delivered in one of the NATO countries. The amount of the contract is estimated at $ 100 million, deliveries should be made before the end of 2027.

The name of the country is not indicated, but it was previously reported that the Ministry of Defense of Latvia has concluded a contract for the supply of 42 ASCOD armored personnel carriers with General Dynamics European Land Systems. This transaction is estimated at 373 million euros.

The European Security and Defense Code notes that armored vehicles will be equipped with Tower MK2 tower systems with a 30-mm automatic gun. Deliveries should begin in 2026 and end until the end of 2027.
