China has urged the United States to “completely cancel” mutual customs duties, following the American decision to exempt high -tech products, from computers to smartphones.
“We urge the United States to take an important step to correct their mistakes, completely cancel the incorrect practice of mutual rates and return to the right path of mutual respect,” said a spokesperson in the Ministry of Commerce of Beijing in a note.
