The American company Nvidia, the largest producer of chips for artificial intelligence, wants to produce around 500 billion dollars (440 billion euros) to AI technology in the United States for the next four years. Nvidia announced this on Monday.
The group wants to achieve that objective by working together with a number of production partners. For example, the production of the newest generation of AI chips, also known as Blackwell, is in collaboration with a new Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (TSMC) in Phoenix. For other activities in the state of Texas is collaborating with Foxconn and Wistron, and in the state of Arizona with Amkor and Siliconware Precision Industries, Nvidia still reports.
“By producing in the US, we can better meet the enormous and growing demand for AI chips and supercomputers. At the same time, we strengthen our supply chain and increase our resilience,” says Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia.
US President Donald Trump wants to encourage companies to invest more in the US. For that reason, he also introduced the much -discussed import duties.
