Israelis spent 22.8% more on Black Friday morning than last year

The last Friday of November is traditionally called Black Friday, and stores around the world, both online and in retail chains, offer various discounts and promotions.

On the morning of Friday, November 28, Israelis spent 416.67 million shekels using Internet cards on various purchases. We are talking about figures from 08:00 to 11:00, and this amount is significantly higher than on Black Friday last year, when Israelis spent 339.27 million shekels on credit cards.

Data for 2022 and 2023 were also significantly lower, according to Shevet, the company responsible for online payments. The busiest minute this morning was 10:43, when Israelis made more than 16,500 trades totaling more than NIS 3.7 million.
