Network International, the financial technology company operating in the Middle East and Africa, announced that it has reached an agreement to acquire the merchant payment processing business unit of National Bank of Ras Al Khaimah in the UAE. This deal allows RAKBANK’s entire merchant payment processing portfolio, which includes 5,000 merchants, to be included in the Network system, strengthening its position in the rapidly growing payments and financial technology sector in the region. The transaction is expected to be completed in early 2026, subject to obtaining regulatory approvals. Under the agreement, Network will provide the latest payment solutions to serve RAKBANK’s diverse customer base, which includes more than 80,000.
