In July-September, private consumption grew by 0.2 percent compared to April-June.

Finland gross national product decreased by 0.3 percent in July-September compared to the previous quarter, says Statistics Finland. Gross domestic product adjusted for working days decreased by 0.6 percent from July to September last year.

In July-September, private consumption grew by 0.2 percent compared to April-June. Public consumption expenditures, on the other hand, decreased in the third quarter by 0.2 percent from the level of the previous quarter.

In July-September, private investments grew by 0.6 percent from the previous quarter. At the same time, public investments decreased by 4.0 percent.

According to Statistics Finland, the volume of Finnish exports increased by 2.0 percent from the previous quarter in July-September. At the same time, the volume of imports grew by 2.1 percent.

The development of Finland’s gross domestic product is moving in a different direction than the EU countries on average, because according to Eurostat’s preliminary data, the EU region’s gross domestic product grew by 0.3 percent in July-September compared to the previous quarter.
