Former EU Commissioner Johannes Hahn is likely to become OeNB President

Former EU-Kommissar Johannes Hahn probably OeNB President become. Hahn was Austrian EU Commissioner in Brussels from 2014 to 2024, initially for enlargement and neighborhood policy, then for budget and administration. The ÖVP politician was previously Minister of Science between 2007 and 2010. The 68-year-old has been the EU special envoy for Cyprus since May.
