Haifa mayor threatens to “kick” Wolt out of the city due to traffic violations

According to Yahava, “Wolt and other couriers driving wildly pose a clear and present danger to public safety.”

At the same time, he emphasized that he does not believe the promises of the company’s leaders and “does not accept their explanations and excuses.”

The meeting was preceded by a joint operation by municipal inspectors and Israeli police officers, during which dozens of fines were issued to couriers for traffic violations.

The mayor’s office promised that this operation was “just the beginning” and called on other municipalities to join their fight.

Wolt said it “applauds the municipality for taking action against traffic violators” and that it will continue to operate in the city “as it did under the missiles.”
