Kesko’s comparable sales increased slightly in November

Miscarriage comparable sales increased by 0.8 percent in November, the company informs. Overall, sales increased by 3.9 percent.

“The good development in K-food stores and Onninen’s sales in Finland that started in the third quarter continued in November, taking into account the calendar effect”, CEO Jorma Rauhala says in the announcement.

According to Rauhala, sales in the car shop increased in used cars and decreased in new cars and services. All industries had one delivery day less than the previous year, and the effect of one delivery day, depending on the industry, is about 2–4 percentage points.

Grocery sales in November were 539 million euros and it grew by 2.2 percent. Grocery sales to K-​​food stores increased by 4.0 percent. K-Citymarket’s consumer goods store sales increased. Kespro’s sales fell by 5.8 percent.

Sales in the construction and building technology trade were EUR 405 million in November, and it grew by 7.4 percent. Comparably, sales decreased by 0.8 percent. Hardware store sales increased by 17.4 percent and comparable by 0.6 percent.
