French court dismantles tobacco trafficking to Belgium

Up to six years in prison and 240,000 euros for large-scale import and sale of cocaine: “393 packs of coke were found in a warehouse”

Earlier this year, 450 kilos of cigarettes and 14.7 tons of tobacco were seized in a warehouse near Brussels, the French prosecutor said. At the beginning of this month, the person responsible was arrested, together with the drivers of two trucks. Nearly 30 tons of counterfeit cigarettes were found in the two trucks. The three Bulgarians are in custody in Rennes.

“The investigation continues in France and abroad to identify and arrest other accomplices,” said Rennes prosecutor Frédéric Teillet.
