The trade union committee of the Superbus company threatens a strike

The trade union committee of the Superbus company, which declared a state of labor conflict two weeks ago, is threatening to go on strike after a new incident of violence against the driver.

The Koah Le-Ovdim union, which represents the company’s drivers, said that in Afula, several teenagers threw stones at a bus after the driver refused to stop at their request between stops.

Drivers are demanding that company management take measures to protect their workers from violence.

Previously, the trade union organization reported that over the past month there have been more than a dozen attacks on company drivers and supervisors: they were stoned, beaten and tear gas was used against them.

The union is threatening to stop bus services in Jerusalem, Haifa, Afula, Tiberias and other cities.
